Mem

Mem

If you look carefully at , you'll probably notice it looks a little bit like an M. Ok, not much. But once again, that's its origin: M came from thousands of years ago.

The good news is that for once, it was easy to find a way to remember the letter. It reminds me a lot of an old-fashioned mailbox!

Now let's try some reading practice again.

(mah) - Means what?

(kmo) - Means like, as in "apples are like oranges."

(lamah) - Means why?

(kamah) - Means how much or how many.

(bechol) - With all or in all. As in "with all my heart" or "in all the things you do."

(chai) - Alive, living, exists. Many Jews wear this word on necklaces, symbolizing a love for life itself.
